Arenal

Arenal, Costa Rica – 2019. We spent a couple of nights at Hotel Arenal Manoa which is just outside of the town of La Fortuna. The main attraction in this area is the Arenal Volcano and there are lots of activities available in the area – volcano tours, caving, rainforests, waterfalls, zip lines, river rafting and lots of hot springs. I did a walk through the Natura Eco Park which had a nice butterfly house and an interesting forest trail and the Arenal Volcano National Park and of course spent time in one of the hot pools. It rained a lot and the volcano was continually shrouded in cloud so I never got to see it.
